The Sidewinder 4 bite indicator allows you to fish very sensitive tips because it is under no strain when casting out a bomb or feeder; in action the indicator sits on top of your rod and you fish with the rod pointing straight at your terminal tackle, not fishing at 90 degrees to it as you normally would when fishing a feeder rod.

By fishing direct to your terminal tackle, swims such as those restricted by surrounding trees can be fished much easier, while striking is direct, quicker and more effective. The Sidewinder is slightly offset from the rod, allowing the angler to read every movement on the tip

The Sidewinder 4 indicator is fitted with a pigtail ring, allowing the angler to change between tips without breaking down and re-tackling. The tips are colour coded for easy selection:

Yellow – Stiff / Orange – Medium / Red – Soft.

For silver fish we recommended the yellow tip, and when fishing for carp use the red version.
